Viktoria Köln
Viktoria Köln is one of Germany’s oldest football clubs and can trace its history back to 1909. For many years it was one of the top teams in the western side of the country, but since the mid-1960s has struggled both on an off the pitch. A series of mergers and name-changes resulted in the rebirth of the present club in 2010. Starting in the lowly Kreisliga D Viktoria has worked its way through the divisions and achieved promotion to the 3 Liga in 2019.
Stadium
Viktoria play in Sportpark Höhenberg. It was built in 1941 and has a capacity of 10,000, including 3,000 seats. It has recently undergone improvements to meet third division requirements.
Tickets
Standing tickets cost 10 euros and a seat costs 19 euros if you buy in advance. On the day the prices are 12 and 22 euros.
Directions
Take Tram 1 to Höhenberg Frankfurter Straße. There is then a 3-minute walk to the ground.
