Starting from Düsseldorf: Getting there 

Getting to Düsseldorf couldn’t be easier!

You can fly to Düsseldorf Rhein Ruhr Airport from Birmingham, London Stansted, London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Cardiff, Glasgow, Newcastle.

When you come into the arrivals follow the signs for the S11 local train service. An escalator will take you straight from the arrivals lounge to the platform.

Buy a ticket from the red machine at the beginning of the platform – you need a single in price range A (it’ll cost you 2.50 euros) – make sure its stamped – and get on the next train heading towards Bergisch Gladbach. The journey takes about 20 minutes and you get off at Düsseldorf Hauptbahnhof (the main station)

If you’re not keen on flying, Eurostar can get you there from London – with one change in Brussels – in about 5 hours.
